While in Adelaide, take the opportunity to wind down after ANS and explore some of the finest wine country in Australia. South Australia boasts 3 major wine regions within 1.5 hr of the CBD. The Barossa Valley is home of iconic vineyards such as Penfolds, Seppeltfeild and Jacobs Creek as well as the Maggie Beer kitchen. McLaren Vale just south of CBD provides an opportunity to travel along the Fleurieu Peninsula coastline before heading slightly inland to some of the oldest wineries in South Australia.
